Well I'm back in the city and settling into my new place on Barrington. It's still a bit sparse but I'm trying to girl it up a little. I finally have the internet now. Things I still don't have include a key to my mailbox, a job and any idea what's wrong with my sink. The sink works fine but it makes a sound like a cat choking on plastic. For the past three nights it gets going at around the same time and every night I get up to investigate. Three times might sound like a lot of times to be tricked by the same sound but it really, really sounds like a cat.
Now the job search begins. I'm not looking forward to it and have been putting it off. Janet has done more in the way of finding me a job than I have so far. I've been spending my time reading in the Public Gardens and shopping for outfits. But I'm pretty well out of money and that's a strong motivator.
